2006 Chardonnay, Monterey County
Fruit originating from highly-regarded vineyards in the cool microclimates of the region has yielded a quintessential Monterey Chardonnay—as we have produced since 1985. The rich tropical fruit aromas and ripe varietal flavors are balanced by the crisp acidity prized by wineries throughout the state. This wine is sure to please a wide range of palates as it develops in the bottle.

2005 Pinot Grigio, California
This release shows ripe melon and floral varietal aromas combined with ample crisp acidity. The medium body yields a fine mouth feel and a much richer palate impression than Italian counterparts. The vineyard source is predominantly from Monterey with a small portion of Chardonnay blended for greater complexity.

2006 White Zinfandel, California
This 2006 release is a real crowd-pleaser with crisp, bright flavors and fresh fruit aromas including strawberry and cherry. Drier, with lower residual sugar than most blush wines, our White Zinfandel drinks like a quality rosé.

2005 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon
Sourced from the heart of the Paso Robles district, where soil and climate conditions are ideally suited to this varietal, our fruit has produced a rich, concentrated berry-like Cabernet Sauvignon. American oak barrel-aging for 10 months has enriched the flavors and the finished wine boasts alluring color, medium-full body and approachable structure.

2006 Pinot Noir, Carneros
Pinot Noir put Mountain View on the map in 1986 when we introduced our Napa Carneros blend to rave reviews. This wine is a lovely medium weight Pinot Noir with layers of herbal notes and cherry, plums; cloves and modest oak. The pedigree of premium Carneros fruit is highlighted in this eminently drinkable offering.

2005 Merlot, Lake County
Initial impressions of ripe berry fruit aromas carry through with wonderful balance, deep spicy flavors and a pleasing finish, epitomizing Merlot's popularity with both novice drinkers and connoisseurs. The soft underpinnings from 30 year old Lake County merlot vines provide structure along with Central Coast Cabernet which is incorporated as a small portion of the blend.

2005 Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley Spring Mountain
The 2005 vintage exhibits the complexity and minerality of austere mountain soils, where yields average under two tons per acre. The concentrated blackberry and currant flavors are highlighted by hints of coffee, cocoa and chocolate enveloped in a firm tannin structure. This wine has been carefully crafted to drink well in its youth, but will continue to develop gracefully for many years
Monterey Highlands Red
This is a traditionally made easy drinking table red which is primarily a blend of Zinfandel, Barbera, Ruby Cabernet and Grenache. It has good color, medium weight and round full flavors. Unlike many wines of this niche, it is dry and has good acid balance which makes it equally at home in the kitchen, as a fruit punch base or as a pleasant “glass o’red”.

Monterey Highlands White
The blend is based upon the round fruit of Chenin Blanc and the crispness of French Colombard. A small percentage of Muscat is included to fill out the flavor profile. The residual sugar remains under 1% which places the wine in the “off dry” category and makes it suitable for cooking as well as a simple quaff.
