Monterey grapes originating from the same highly-regarded vineyards we have been located at for over 30 years. The vineyard sits in the cool microclimates of the Monterey and has been an award winning producer for over 20 years. The rich tropical fruit aromas and ripe varietal flavors are balanced by the crisp acidity prized by wineries throughout the state. This wine is un-oaked and is sure to please a wide range of palates.
2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml $18.99 per bottle
The perfect Napa Valley vineyard with optimal sun exposure created this exquisite classic Napa Valley Sauvignon. After American oak barrel aging for 12 months, the wine was bottle aged and additional 24 months to provide additional flavor interest. This release will satisfy the most delicate palates for many years to come.
2008 Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon 750ml $14.99 per bottle
A perfect mixture of 50% Monterey grapes and 50% Northern Paso Robles grapes creating Mature berry fruit flavors in a classic Coastal Cabernet Sauvignon. After American oak barrel aging for 12 months, approximately 8% Merlot was added to the blend for additional flavor interest. This release will satisfy the consumer upon release but will continue to improve for many years to come.
2009 Carneros Pinot Noir 750ml $18.99 per bottle
Pinot Noir from the Carneros, Napa, region is simply divine. After 6 months of French oak aging, this wine shows ripe berry fruit, bright cherry and plum flavors and an alluring varietal accent in the nose. This wine is very delicate and displays the proper spices expected in a fine quality Pinot Noir.
2009 Monterey County Pinot Noir $16.99 per bottle
Monterey Pinot Noir has been a mainstay for Mountain View for the past 18 years when we first introduced our Monterey blend to rave reviews. This wine shows ripe berry fruit, bright cherry and plum flavors and an alluring varietal accent in the nose. There is a hint of oak in the finish which complements the crisp acid balance and moderate tannin. This wine shows beautifully now and will continue to develop over the next 3-5 years.
